Numerical simulation of problems arising in the area of acoustics, structural mechanics and fluid mechanics by means of finite element method is a proven predictive tool. It has become a real necessity, if the highly competitive demands for innovative products are to be meet in a short time.

The biggest current demand in the area of applied industrial simulations is  the prediction of the performance of complex systems or behaviour of industrial processes. All of the engineering disciplines and all of the industrial sectors are equally concerned, and coupling of several physical phenomena together with high non-linearities are often involved.
Apex Technologies is active in most of the mechanical engineering domains. It deals with problems arising in advanced aerospace and automotive applications, i.e. big industrial companies with a long tradition of using numarical simulations. Both well established methods, and advanced research approaches are employed.

There are still industrial application areas, where the simulation is very new, such as those encountered by Small and Medium Enterprises (SME's).  Apex Technologies is involved in promoting simulation technology for SME's, and in particular in the area of component supply industries and medical equipment.
