Apex Technologies have established and maintains very good collaborative relationships with the Belgian company LMS Numerical Technologies. Since many years, the software tools developed by LMS-NT are used in the consulting projects involving study of noise propagation in mechanical systems and  in indoor and outdoor environments. Apex Technologies and LMS-NT are being involved in common research and software development projects.

Component and system simulation

Vibro-acoustic simulations of noise radiation and propagation in mechanical components are performed by means of Sysnoise software.

Main features:

Leading numerical acoustic code, extensively used and validated by industry
Boundary elements, finite elements or infinite elements for modelling of acoustic fluid
Finite element modelling of structure
Coupled analysis with possible data exchange with external structural codes
Frequency or time domain analysis
Sensitivity analysis
Diffuse field loading
